The stage lights are again on for the Texas Nation New music Hall of Fame’s Yearly Present.
The 24th annual live performance party will return Aug. 12-14 to Carthage, bringing a bevy of country artists to East Texas. This year’s present is getting billed as a “Legends” present, with performances and visitors like Dallas Wayne, Linda Davis and Lang Scott, Janie Fricke, T.G. Sheppard, Moe Bandy, Jeannie Seely, Mandy Barnett and Bailey Rae.
“We’ve got a fantastic assortment,” Panola County Chamber of Commerce President Tommie Ritter Smith said. “These individuals are our good friends and they are Grand Ole Opry legends and they have been inclined to occur and help us recoup some of our revenue from past year.”
The Basic Region Tunes Festival will kick-off Thursday, Aug. 12 at 7 p.m. at the Esquire Theater in downtown Carthage, with a Region Tunes Hayride show.
The John Ritter Tribute Showcase, which highlights aspiring singers and decides who’ll be a part of the Corridor of Fame band in touring the point out around the up coming yr, will get location Friday, Aug. 13 at 7 p.m. at the Carthage Civic Middle, with tickets costing $15.
